Visit Marineland Melanesia – Croc Park
which is a family-run business on Green Island for over 40 years. On display is one of the world’s largest collections of Melanesian Tribal Artifacts, an amazing Aquarium display and a gift shop. See Cassius the crocodile. He’s around 110 years old, and he’s huge! Weighing more than 1,300kg, he’s the biggest living crocodile in captivity anywhere in the world.

Wunyami Cultural Tour (Wunyami is the traditional name for Green Island) is connected to an ancient journey of two ancestral story-time beings who fought and formed the island and who still protect it today. This story is shared by the GuruGulu Gungganji people and the Gimuy Yidinji people. This tour explains the symbiotic relationship of these warriors, the curtailed ceremonies of these two tribes and the connectivity of this iconic island to the ancient seascape. Your indigenous guides have been given special approval from their elders to share this story with all who come on this tour.
