Paronella Park Day Tours from Cairns

Paronella Park is Queensland’s most awarded attraction. Originally opened to the public back in 1935, Paronella Park is open daily to travellers and is located 112kms south of Cairns, approx. 1.5 hour drive. The park is open during the day and evening. On arrival guests are taken through the many highlights of the park on a 30 minute guided tour.

The story behind Paronella Park is Jose Paronella who arrived from Spain to North Queensland in 1913. He purchased 13 acres of virgin scrub along Mena Creek in 1929 and began to build his dream of a castle, gardens and reception area for the public. Mark and Judy Evans, the current owner/operators, purchased the Park in 1993 and formulated a plan to put the Park back on the map.

Visit Paronella Park on a full day tour or an afternoon/evening experience. It’s well worth a visit.
