Kuranda Train/Skyrail Day Tour from Yorkeys

Kuranda Scenic Train, up to 2 hours free time in Kuranda with return on Skyrail Rainforest Cableway soaring above the rainforest canopy. Limited to 20 seats only – Book early to avoid disappointment
You’ll be collected by Kuranda Day Tours from the Yorkeys Knob Boat Club, near the children’s playground, at 9.00am.
Your first stop is Freshwater Station, where you’ll board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway for a 1½-hour journey — one of the most spectacular rail journeys in Australia. The train winds through the rainforest, passing waterfalls and tunnels along the way, with breathtaking scenery throughout.
On arrival in Kuranda, your guide will be waiting for you at the Skyrail terminal/train platform. From there, you’ll travel together by bus up the range into the “Village in the Rainforest”. Your guide will point out the colourful arts and crafts markets, cafés, restaurants, and animal parks before leaving you to enjoy two hours of free time.
At 1.45pm, you’ll return via the multi-award-winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, taking in a World Heritage-listed rainforest experience with spectacular views.
On arrival at the Skyrail Smithfield terminal, you’ll be met and transferred back to Yorkeys Knob Boat Club, arriving at approximately 3.15–3.30pm.
If you’ve chosen to return by coach instead, you’ll depart Kuranda at approximately 2.30pm, travelling down the Kuranda Range with your guide, who will collect the Skyrail guests along the way before returning the full group to Yorkeys Knob by 3.30pm.
