Michaelmas Cay is a National Park and a protected sanctuary for hundreds of migratory seabirds.
Set sail to Michaelmas Cay on the Great Barrier Reef aboard Ocean Spirit’s comfortable sailing catamaran. Snorkel or dive the fringing reef and view from the comfort of a glass bottom boat. Enjoy the crystal clear waters with easy access off the spectacular white sand beach and observe the myriad of seabirds that call this protected sanctuary home. Michaelmas Cay is a major natural seabird habitat and one of the most important in the Southern Hemisphere. It is home to at least 23 species of seabirds. Many breeds find this island an ideal nesting habitat and is one of the most significant bird sanctuaries on the Great Barrier Reef.

You will first get a text message, followed by an email, guiding you to

- Download your digital boarding pass(es) –
And on the day of travel…Skip the queue inside the Reef Fleet Terminal & proceed directly to the Ocean Spirit vessel presenting your boarding pass(es) to the crew.
(If the passengers doesn’t complete digital check-in in advance, you can still check in at the Reef Fleet terminal and collect a physical boarding pass as usual)
