Paddle through the World Heritage-listed Rainforest of the Barron Gorge National Park and take on the thrilling Grade Three rapids of the Barron River as it winds its way towards the Coral Sea. This fun and adrenaline experience from Cairns will have you rafting down the Barron River for 2 hours on Grade 3 rapids. No experience is necessary, all equipment and life vests are supplied. Arrive at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre, where you will be greeted with a traditional Aboriginal Welcome to country smoking ceremony. Take some time to peruse the gallery and local crafts store at the centre before journeying into the rainforest of Mossman Gorge itself with your experienced Aboriginal guide for an interpretive walk through this ancient environment. Departing Cairns at approx 11.15am , we journey south to the Cassowary Coast our first stop at the township of Babinda and to explore the beautiful Babinda Boulders with time for a swim or nature walk.
