This exclusive tour has become a genuine bucket list experience for travellers across Australia, taking you through the meeting point of two UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. Journey deep into Far North Queensland on this action-packed day trip, crossing the Daintree River, tackling the iconic Bloomfield Track, and arriving in the historic gold-rush town of Cooktown.

Journey Overview
Morning: Coastal Drive to the Daintree –Travel north towards Port Douglas along one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives, then head inland to Mossman for a morning tea stop complete with homemade scones in the heart of this picturesque sugar-producing town. Cross the mighty Daintree River by ferry into the ancient Daintree Rainforest, keeping an eye out for the elusive cassowary as you take in the lush tropical scenery. Stop at a secluded beach, where rainforest meets reef, for a leisurely stroll along its secluded shoreline.
The Bloomfield Track – From here, the adventure ramps up on the legendary 4WD Bloomfield Track with creek crossings, steep inclines and declines, and breathtaking scenery at every turn. Follow the Bloomfield River to Wujal Wujal, then visit the historic Lions Den Hotel, established in 1875
Lunch & Cooktown Exploration Arrive in the charming, history rich township of Cooktown. Take in sweeping views over Cooktown, the Endeavour River and Mount Cook from Grassy Hill Lookout, then enjoy lunch at the Sovereign Resort while soaking up Cooktown’s laid-back, historic atmosphere. Return Journey -Gather for the journey home via the inland outback route. Along the way, stop at the geological marvel of Black Mountain, before continuing along the Mulligan Highway traversing through the Palmer River Goldfields region and the outback landscapes of Far North Queensland — the perfect backdrop to reflect on a big day of adventure.
