Cruise Ship Shore Excursions: Cairns & Yorkeys Knob Ports

Cairns is a vibrant cruise ship destination, featuring a centrally located port in Cairns city.  The Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal is right in the heart of Cairns City, just a short 7-10 minute walk to the Cairns Marina and Reef Fleet Terminal - where the Great Barrier Reef and Island tours depart.

Yorkeys Knob Cruise Ship Tours - Shore excursions from Yorkeys Knob are limited, as many operators do not pick up from this location, 25 minutes north of Cairns city. However, we can assist with arranging private transfers and offer the Kuranda Tour with Yorkeys Knob pick-up. Please email us to enquire about available tours for your specific cruise arrival. The Cruise ships offer a shuttle service to and from Cairns to connect with the many Great Barrier Reef and Island tours

Why Choose Cairns Discovery Tours?  We live in Cairns and as Cairns' official local City Sightseeing tour operator since 1995, Cairns Discovery Tours specialises in tailor-made cruise ship shore excursions. Whether you’re arriving at the Cairns port or Yorkeys Knob, we offer a variety of tours suited to cruise passengers.

There are many Cairns Tours and shore excursions to choose from. Great Barrier Reef Tours, Scenic Helicopter flights, Hartleys Crocodile Adventures, Port Douglas, Paronella Park, Green Island and Fitzroy Island. Kuranda Day Tours, including Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail – please contact us for the options and availability.
